ZNI-Institute for New Age Education is a private organisation from Maribor, Slovenia. We are non-governmental organisation (NGO), a non-profit and voluntary organisations.
The ZNI Institute was founded by Mrs. Maja Kumperščak in 2005 with the purpose of encouraging the participation of individuals in the society as well as motivating them to connect and cooperate with each other. The managing director of the institute is Sonja Markič, who has many years of experience with European Projects. The core members of our team are also coordinators - Neja Cerar - as well as numerous volunteers and interns. ZNI team consist of experienced project managers, personal coaches, humans resource specialists, coordinators, administration staff and volunteers. All the members of ZNI team took part in mobility projects themselves and later gained experience providing both sending and hosting services resulting in over 700 successfully implemented mobilities.
ZNI has extensive experience in the development and implementation of various international mobility projects and exchanges. Within the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme and now Erasmus +, run by the European Commission, we organise work placements abroad for Slovenian citizens, and work placements in businesses across Slovenia for international candidates. The main objective of these programmes is for the participants to acquire work experience abroad in an international and multicultural environment. The participants also benefit from our unique and innovative approach to preparations, consisting of cross-cultural, personal, language and professional training.
This in turn ensures that maximum results are achieved through the implementation of projects for all parties involved. Additional activities we carry out as part of such (mobility) projects are making arrangements for accommodation, offering support to the participants, and evaluating and mentoring them.
In the year 2012 ZNI has received National Quality Award »Jabolko kakovosti« - an acknowledgement which is awarded to 3 best completed mobility projects within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Program.
Management of training programs and system of quality assurance introduced by ZNI Institute have been evaluated and awarded with Quality System Certificates MiQ for Professional Practices (MiQ015) and Workplace Trainings (MiQ014), both valid through year 2017.
In year 2015 ZNI Institute is proudly carrying the title of Knowledge Ambassador Minvos - award for special contributions in development of quality in non-formal education and non-governmental sector in Slovenia.
