Sabinka Lišková & Michaela Macháčková

Sabinka and Michaela from the Czech VET mobility group Northcom spent two autumn weeks in a Slovene company Happy Farm, which is located near Pesnica outside Maribor.  Their working tasks included taking good care of horses as well as riding them. The employees at the Happy Farm have been very satisfied with their results, since they both showed a great willingness to work, and also good knowledge about horses and cooperation. They wished them good luck in their future lives, hoping that this experience which they have gained would help them to find themselves easier in a multicultural environment, as well as improve their employment opportunities in the future.
Together with four other girls from the Northcom group, their tutor Milan and ZNI team, they also paid a visit to Slovenian capital city Ljubljana, and made a small hiking trip to Pohorje mountains. Some of the girls were really surprised, how much the old part of Ljubljana reminded them of Czech capital city Prague. That's no surprise for those who are aware, that the most famous Slovene architect Jože Plečnik designed many buildings in both cities.
