JOB SHADOWING STAFF MOBILITIES
ZNI has been welcoming teachers from various countries for their job-shadowing experiences. Job shadowing provides foreign teachers with insights into the operations of Maribor companies and institutions across different sectors.
After preparations at our office, they visit different schools and companies, gaining a broader perspective and exchanging experiences. ZNI organizes visits to companies or institutions, where representatives present their work processes, methodologies, and the activities they undertake. This mobility allows teachers to exchange valuable information, gain a deeper understanding of the work, and broaden their horizons. Upon returning to their institutions abroad, teachers report back to their colleagues, sharing the knowledge they have newly acquired.

SEPTEMBER 2024, GEB with employees of FiPP e.V. Berlin
Staff mobility in the field of pre-school education took place from 8th to 13th September. We were delighted to host a group from partner GEB with employees of FiPP e.V. Berlin for the week. The programme began at ZNI with presentations about ZNI, EU mobility projects, Slovenia, and the Slovenian education system. The ZNI team then escorted the group to various organisations and companies, where each one was presented.

APRIL 2024, GEB STAFF VISIT FROM GERMANY
Last week we hosted 22 principals from evangelical kindergartens. Together we visited a good number of institutions, which presented their way of working. Below is a list of activities we did, and institutions that we have visited:
- Evangelical church in Maribor, where we were hosted by priestess Vladimira Mesariča,
- Old vine house,
- Tour of Maribor,
- Faculty of Pedagogy - Department of Preschool Education, where we were hosted by Marta Licardo (vice dean for scientific research, international cooperation and development),
- III. Gymnasium Maribor - preschool education program,
- Kindergarten Studenci, Unit Pekre,
- Final meeting with lunch at a restaurant Anderlic.

NOVEMBER 2023, sandson AB staff mobility
Another successful job shadowing trip! We extend our gratitude to our partner, Sandson AB, for coming to visit us all the way from Sweden for the second time in 2023. The representatives were experts in various fields of study, including assistant principal & teacher of behavioral science, songwriting and music education, childcare and theatre, musicals and theatre, arts, youth leadership, sociology, and social studies. We have visited the following companies in Maribor: Andragoški zavod Maribor - Ljudska univerza, Zavod Igrišče Maribor, Old vine house, Sports Park Ruše, Društvo SMC Maribor, and MKC Maribor.

We also had the pleasure of hosting 10 representatives from our largest Italian partner, UNISER, who arrived in two groups: one from Italy, Levi Vignola school, and the other from Spain, Instituto La Ferreria. All of them visited the following companies in Maribor: Technical School Centre Maribor, Old vine house, elderly home Dom Danice Vogrinec, Zlatorog Oprema factory, Secondary school of nursing and cosmetics, and Serioplast.

November 2023, Activa staff mobility
In 2023, we were visited by another partner from Sweden - four representatives from ACTIVA. We had a lovely start to the day at the ZNI office, where Anais and Lea presented Slovenia. We then enjoyed lunch at the delicious restaurant called Fudo, and afterward, we visited various companies: elderly home Dom Danice Vogrinec, car mechanic companies and more.

OCtober 2023, Imot staff mobility
In 2023, our partner IMOT visited us for the second time. We are always delighted to welcome them back to Maribor. On this occasion, we hosted two teachers from IES LA GRANJA school. They have visited the following companies: GT22, Cineplexx, Fashion design school in Maribor, and more.

jUNE 2023, ENAIP NET STAFF MOBILITY
In June, we had the honor of hosting 10 teachers and representatives from Italy for a 4-day job shadowing trip in Maribor. During their stay, they visited many companies in the Maribor area: Technical School Centre Maribor, Palfinger, Hotel Videc, and more. Partner: ENAIP NET.

A lovely group of teachers visited us in Maribor all the way from Norway, our partner Viken. The group explored various kindergartens in Maribor.

After the departure of the Sandson group, we had the pleasure of hosting two more long-term partners from Spain (Imot) and Portugal (Euroyouth). During their visit, teachers explored the following companies: Smartronik, Fitnes Forma, Technical School Centre Maribor, and many more.

April 2023, Sandson staff MOBILITY
Sandson is our partner from Sweden, and their teachers visited us in April to gain a better understanding of our mobility processes. During their visit, they explored various companies in Maribor, specifically in the youth and social work fields. The following are the companies they visited: Zavod Mars, Pika Center and MKC Maribor.

FEBRUARY 2023, GEB staff mobility
In January 2023, we hosted teachers from the Jane Addams School in Berlin. During their mobility, they visited the Faculty of Education in Maribor, where Marta Licardo, from the Early Childhood Education Department, gave them a presentation on the process of teacher education. In the days that followed, they also visited the Jožica Flander Kindergarten and the Boris Pečeta Kindergarten. The kindergartens were visited just in time for Carnival Day, so the children and educators were dressed up and in the middle of preparing for the carnival. They were given a tour of the kindergarten and a brief presentation of their work.

December 2022, IMOT staff mobility
We hosted another visit from our partner IMOT. The teachers that visited us come from spanish school Colegio FEC San José Virgen de la Palma. Isabel Maria Carabante Agüera and Esther Delgado Cintrano first visited Secondary School of Economics Maribor. After, they visited different companies such as Nursing home Dom pod Gorco, Pharmacy Lent and Verus.

November 2022, IMOT staff mobility
In November we hosted staff mobility from our partner IMOT from Spain. The group of teachers was from I.E.S. Jose Manzano of Vanesa Valdivia Pérez, María Encarnación Trinidad Ruiz, Laura Barrero and Carlos Ridruejo López. They visited Nursing Home Danice Vogrinec, Maribor University Medical Center and Dental Center Polyclinic Amber.

In October 2022 we hosted teachers from Checzh Republic Ondřej Děkanovský, Radek Pařez, Josef Vavřinec who visited Technical School Centre Maribor (TŠC) and Wood Technology School Maribor (Lesarska šola Maribor). They were joined by Dana Vacková and Eva Tomásková who visited Primary School Selnica ob Dravi.
